Apple, ginger, herb & curry chicken burgers

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 teaspoon of fresh dill, chopped
- 1 apple, minced
Burgers
- 1 pound of ground Exceldor chicken
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh dill, chopped
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of breading
- Salt & pepper, as preferred
Spicy mayo
- 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, chopped
Steps
- Add the ground Exceldor chicken to a bowl along with the burger ingredients then shape four compact patties. Refrigerate.
- Combine the spicy mayo ingredients then set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat in a large pan then bake the patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the centre of the patty is well done.
- Grill the buns.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of spicy mayo with the dill and apple slices.
- Spread spicy mayo onto each bun then top with a patty and apple slices.
Tips & tricks
Pour une cuisson au barbecue, préchauffer le barbecue à 400 °F, puis cuire les galettes de burgers légèrement huilées de 4 à 5 minutes de chaque côté, ou jusqu’à ce qu’elles soient bien cuites au centre.
